Audoux Minet Side Chairs in Oak and Braided Straw

France, 1950s

Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet side chairs in stained oak, braided straw and iron. The oak was originally used for wine barrels, thus, the slightly curved, sculptural form typical of Audoux and Minet’s modernist designs. Good original condition with slight wear to the surface of the rope
